Donate to Whakaora Kai
We are able to do what we do because of generous people like you.
If you can't give kai, monetary donations also greatly support our mahi.
Your contribution helps
Every dollar helps us rescue food and nourish our community.
Check out this Social Return on Investment study AFRA recently carried out. They found out that every $1 invested in food rescue generated $4.50 of value, among many other compelling findings!
Getting 4x the value of every dollar you donate! Win, Win, Win for our community.
All donations help Northland communities by getting kai to where it is needed most. Donations are used for fuel, rent and keeping our service operating.
Every dollar makes a difference – right here in Tai Tokerau.
Looking for individual food support?
We don’t provide kai or food parcels directly to individual whānau. If you are seeking kai for yourself, please reach out to Whare Āwhina if you are in Whangārei or check out the Family Services Directory to find details of your nearest foodbank.
"Nga mihi Whakaora Kai, we got to make and distribute over 25 kai packs to whanau.
Thank you."
